January 2026 brought with it one of the most exciting opportunities in recent memory for students of the Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR). As part of the Study in Dubai programme conducted at the SIU Dubai Campus from 5th to 23rd January 2026, undergraduate students stepped into a world far wider than any syllabus. Through a rich combination of academic sessions, industry interactions, workshops, and cultural visits, they got to see firsthand how technology, business, and society come together in a city that has built itself into a global benchmark.
Dubai offered something truly special. Its extraordinary mix of cultures, its relentless pace of innovation, and its status as home to some of the world’s most prominent industries turned every outing into a lesson. Students who had studied global business in theory now watched it unfold in practice, sitting across from industry professionals, walking through infrastructure that redefines what is possible, and engaging with a city that operates at the intersection of ambition and execution. The programme did not just broaden their horizons; it fundamentally shifted how they see their own potential.
Guided by Dr. Madhu Arora, Assistant Professor (Selection Grade), and driven by the vision of Prof. Dr. Jatinderkumar R. Saini, Director, SICSR, the Study in Dubai programme stands as one of the institute’s most meaningful investments in its students. It sent them out into the world as learners and brought them back as something more: young professionals who know what global looks like, feels like, and demands of them.
